Been trying to go vegan for months now. Broke down and had cheese raviolis last night. My body is telling me in no uncertain terms this morning that it was a bad decision...

I lost my voice teaching 2 classes in a row, EVEN THOUGH I made them talk in groups for 20 minutes in the 2nd class.

Stupid Wednesday.

I always forget these wednesday threads are here because it's actually Thursday down here. Not much has been going on for me since last Wednesday's thread.

I'm a quit-stay in my job because I can't wait to leave. That is all.

Argh its nearly thursday here. My daughters birthday, big girl now at 23. That was my life flashing past.
We all went to see Muse last saturday in Devon, one of the more beautiful parts of the UK. My calves (thats my legs, not multiple young cattle) are still aching from the walking, jumping and general over exercise.
Awesome show, loud, dynamic and just very accomplished.
Very proud as my daughter was involved in putting together the BBC documentary broadcast last Monday night. (download the podcast from the Radio 1 website)
Cooler than I ever was.

haha, Scott. Me too! Broke down tonight and had some cheese puffs from our local Chinese restaurant. Mmmmm...cheese puffs. I'm sure my body will object later.

It's Wednesday and I'm sick. This evening I have body aches. Ah life.

typical Wednesday at work is for me to be by myself in the store for about 5-6 hours. very quiet in the mall.

Started out the day shooting waterfalls. Purged a lot of crap that I have been hoarding. Watched a lot of tennis on TV. Meant to go to MusicSaves and get some music. To celebrate 09/09/09 all CD that are $13.99 were being sold for $9.99. Did not make it. Ate too much pizza... carb crashed and just woke up. They are still open but I don't feel like driving now. I have photos that I should be editing, but my eyes want no part of that now. Gonna get horizontal and listen to some music.

Today was a day. Tried to think of something wittier to say, but that's the best I can do.

You haven't had a headache since last summer when you left the hospital--you said so on Twitter. Brian, I did an air high-five with myself when I read that. Such great news, it made MY day!

And incidentally, since you're more likely to see it hear than on last week's WT, one of your last tweets last summer was about loving that blast of distortion at the end of "Carnavas." I'd never heart SSPU before then, and once you were in the hospital and I was reading over your last few tweets, I spotted that one and immediately bought the album. It was, without a doubt, my soundtrack for last summer, and I owe you a HUGE thank you for that. If you'd never mentioned them, I'd probably never have discovered them, and they are far and away one of my favorite bands at this point.

aw, that explains why I don't remember mentioning them to you before, I've been trying to remember when I told you about them.

It's still kind of weird, my memory of last summer just fades after I get back from Kansas City in early May. I remember bits a pieces, but for the most part, it's just gone. The last thing I remember before waking up in the hospital was walking to work that Friday, taking a picture, then posting it to my blog once I got to the office. I don't remember taking Saturday's picture at all, or could I even tell you from where it was taken, other than obviously near or in downtown SF. (I realized it was probably from my hotel room, but I don't remember getting a hotel room, or going to the city at all for that matter.)

oops, a day late as it's very late Thursday nite now here - anyway, Wednesday is a day with my tribe in daycare/pre-school, and my partner in her last week at work. I did some pottering in the garden - making space/clearing some weeds for some great native plants (grevilleas, and bottlebrushes) to plant this weekend and procrastinated over my blog; put my iPod on shuffle and listened to stuff I had either never bothered to listen to previously or heard stuff I hadn't touched in ages, so nice surprises all round - highlights of the former was the Marion Brown tribute album by His Name Is Alive and for the latter, some God Speed You Black Emperor!

I must track down some SSPU as all this recent talk has got me interested.
