I know the Live to Tape cd is sometimes a bit of a rarity since it was limited, so I just wanted to point out that someone on ebay is selling a KH lot that inclues 7 copies of Live to Tape (and there are no bids at $15 right now- the lot also includes 7 copies of 2 other releases as well.)

It's not my auction and I don't know the first thing about it, but 7 copies of Live to Tape could certainly find better homes among us, I suspect! Here's the link (I hope it works). I bet 7 people who need Live to Tape could chip in and get some cheap goodies!

As a long-time eBay seller, I can't imagine for the life of me why anyone would sell the items in that manner. Very few people would want or need seven copies of those items unless they're going to turn around and re-sell them, and it's certainly NOT the way to get the best price on them.

And, I can't imagine how someone acquired seven copies of "Live to Tape." My memory's not good enough to recall where those of us who purchased it when it was released got ours, but I _thought_ I remembered it being somewhat difficult to acquire. Maybe I'm just not remembering correctly. I don't recall, either, how many were pressed, but man, that's a lot of copies a rare item in one person's hands, y'know?

I'd certainly like a copy of each, so, is someone bidding, who would sell a copy on? I'll happily buy a copy of each off whoever wins it. If no one's bidding, I'll stick a bid in. It seems daft bidding against each other though.

btw I'm in the UK, so appreciate that postage could be highish - oh, and I'm on holiday from Thursday and away from computers!

I considered buying the lot if no one else was going to, just to sell them on again as Scott pointed out (they'd certainly fetch more money that way, but there's no logical reason for anyone to need 7 anyway!) Of course I would've offered them at cost here first!

I hate those sniper things, because I never know if someone's going to bid or not. I'm an old fashioned, human-bidding kind of girl :)

Ethicalpaul, you're set up to grab it, yes? I don't know if I should be bidding to be sure someone gets these! (I don't need any of them, but I know others do.) eBay is such a pain in the ass :)

Well, whoever it is, they're obviously no fan as they've misspelt K's name on their page!!

Yes, I have a bid that will fire. I had planned on doing something fun like a lottery for folks here or something similar.

dollface, I did notice they misspelt her name, but luckily my ebay searches are set up for just such a possibility :)

How did the bid go?

I was watching the auction but I got my last warning email after it had closed! Duh. I'm not a seasoned eBayer and it shows...

I guess you got it Paul, since there was only one bid. Care to let us know when you get the stuff & if it is legit? To be frank, I'd love to buy one of those Live to Tape CDs from you...

I hate those sniper things - somehow unethical :)

On the contrary, compulsory use of sniper bots could be the fairest way to establish market price – then everybody would get an equal chance to lodge their final bid.

I believe 750 copies have been pressed. They came in a white envelope sleeve and were sealed with a blue sticker with the Freeloader jumping girl on it.

7 in one buy seems like a bit weird to me... Be careful it's not a scam! Think about it: who on earth has 7 of these babies in their possession anyway? They were hard to get by when they were on sale and I don't believe they were for sale in the proper stores.

BTW I have seen these three items for sale in one lot many many times over the years. I never bought it because I believed it to be a scam. I wonder whether the items will be delivered properly.
