No ideas on "Palm" and "Clarke's Nutcracker," but I'm so bad with lyrics I've got plenty of misheard ones:

Cathedral Heat: "a Rasta boy" instead of "arrest the boy"
Home: "paper murder" instead of "hyper martyr"
Slippershell: "hard ones grow balls" instead of "hard-won scruples"
Call Me: "somebody hears you smoke" instead of "somebody here's too smart"

I could have swore the lyrics to both of these songs were posted somewhere online but I can't find them now...maybe I'm remembering incorrectly.

That line in Clarke's Nutcracker sounds like "lift our penumption"....problem is, I don't think there is such a word as 'penumption', so I'm sure I'm hearing that wrong....maybe it's 'presumption'? But it doesn't sound like she's saying 'presumption'.

Given any choice i’d opt for pixie lint over hexane any time. But it *does* sound like “benzene, hexane, lead and flies”. Makes me think Palm might’ve been stashed away a while – how much lead’s in the air these days?
