Permalink Reply by yell0w_Sky on October 14, 2009 at 11:28pm: i believe it first appeared in 1999, or whenever the Works In Progress series first started. then later it was available as a freebie download on the old throwingmusic.com. it seems like it was there for several years too. not sure how YOU could've missed it. you've been omnipresent on the boards since the beginning.

Though K has been so relentlessly prolific for so long, it's likely even I've overlooked a few gems over the years, especially live material; i'm sure there's quite a few worthwhile concert recordings out there that i either missed entirely or downloaded then never got around to listening to.

as i told carla in an email i downloaded it elsewhere (soulseek would be my guest) (and not from the store THO now that i do have money and have a new debit card on the way, i will be buying it. also to see if the track at the store has the same clip part my mp3 did (somebody could tell me ahead of time if they've got it from there. i have wip 1 & 3 and except for this track i notice no problems (which isn't major but just wondering).; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Scott Hamilton on October 15, 2009 at 2:15pm: Oh. Duh, forgive me for being dense. You mean it IS part of WIP. I took for granted that the acoustic or demo version was on WIP and that this was a full-band version that didn't make it on an album. But it's both.

Guess I'd better dig up my WIP files and freshen up on their contents. It's been a very long time since I listened to them, but I knew this sounded familiar.
