Yay!
I'm so glad to see people getting these again. There seemed to be a lull in the receiving community even though I knew K. was still working on these from her reports. I wondered where they were going!
So excited for everyone!
I think Darrel nailed it. I wouldn't worry about people thinking you are scamming. There are much more profitable ways to scam :)
maybe just explain your motivation in the auction description put in some KH/CASH links, link the auctions here, etc...
Nice idea firepile
I've just been scanning eBay for other stuff (I'm selling prams so checking the competition), so had a look for KH and there are plenty of CDs to choose (over 250 items internationally) - especially regular releases. There are ...
Thanks, Darrell. Usually I just give things to fellow-fans, but in this case I feel like I'm doing everyone more long-term good to get as much for CASH as possible. It seems like a more sustainable promise of even more KH for all of us in the futu...
If it is your objective to get as much cash for CASH as possible, then eBay auction, piece by piece may make more sense. The consumer base would be wider. If you just want to get some cash for CASH and put your dups in the hands of fans, then pimp...
So, I have a problem. When my husband and I combined our CDs a few years ago, a few KH/TM doubles emerged. Some of them are fairly common, regular runs, and some are more rare (The Curse, the Firepile eps, Murder, Misery, and Then Goodnight, etc.)...
just commented on the list of shows in your livejournal. we were at several of the same. my stub list would probably be a bit embarrassing since i was (and still am) a bit of a sucker for the lilith faire set -- though i never stooped so low to actually go to any of the lilith festivals (but i did see sarah mcglockenspiel a dozen times in 1994 -- eek! in my defense, those were great shows).
I was there (well, in Janesville, technically, but close enough) for Thanksgiving, but couldn't break away from the family. I'll buy you a drink in Chicago next week. :)
"(Sigh. Arrived in my new hometown today. Stupid Midwest! I miss Portland already!)"
Hi Robin!
Welcome to Wisconsin. I'm sorry, I don't know much about Beloit, but I'm sure it's not as great as Portland.... Milwaukee can be pretty fun, if you know where to go. We do a lot of drinking here.... Not me – so much – personally... but you'll notice it's part of the culture. You're also close to Madison, which is a pretty progressive town. And you're not far from Chicago.
Let me know if you're in Milwaukee, I'd be happy to show you around..... we'll have some beers...
