I have to say it's very aptly titled.
You're probably thinking about the story from "Mississippi Candlelight" that Kristin tells right before "Vitamins V". It's gruesome and extremely funny at the same time.

This piano version gives me the same vibe as Sno Cat, which has such a direct marriage of image and mood. This is one of those "pure" Kristin songs. Shifting from guitar to piano is inspired.

This song absolutely demolished me. Normally, I enjoy Kristin's downloads by listening to them several times in a row but after this I just had to sit in silence for a while. Not knowing the live version I was not expecting that at all.

that wasn't really how i had wanted it to go down anyway. music appreciation weeks were something that i started doing completely on my own, and that's when it was the most fun. then people wanted to do it with me, and then the website happened, and then all of a sudden i felt like it was too structured and there was too much expected of me. it started being more stressful than it was fun. so i'm just doing it on my own and having fun again, although i somehow seem to have ended up in the midst of a pavement appreciation month, which is looking like it could turn into pavement appreciation six months... i love that fucking band.
anyway, thanks for leaving the comment. it's nice that we can talk on the kristin ning. are you as excited as i am about the new 50 foot wave ep??
