Yeah, I was glad I wasn't standing behind you, for sure, Adrian!! (altho for this half of the show I could hardly see anyway!!) So thanks for the vid of this & nice to meet you & Aggi too. Hearing 'Static' live sorted out one of my mishearings of K's lyrics as I now know that the line that I thought went "Your skin is made of Mexicans, tin & hope" is really "Your skin is made of plexiglass, tin & hope"... d'oh!!!

Oooooh... look like someone got a hair cut :)

This is so flippy cool. Trying to get the chord changes since I saw this. Thanks for the "player's angle" perspective on this video.

Hey brother EJ & sister Michele. I'm going to Kalamazoo and Chicago. Care for two scoops of K w/sprinkles? No sure about where to stay as of yet. Need to work that out soon.

wow! thanks so much for sharing this! i've been wondering how she would perform the tricky last half of Static in a solo live setting. but i think this translation works very well indeed. has kind of a end-of-Snailhead vibe to it.

Thanks for sharing that, Adrian. And yes, Owen, it sure is clear, isn't it? I'm so used to shooting (loud, distorted) full-band shows, I forgot how nice and clear a solo gig can be!

the Shady Circle is a mutating wonderfulness! K is getting new songs in too! More incentive to make the drive to Kalamazoo! D....Michele....what do ya think?!!

Hate those tall loud germans. We decided in the end that getting lost round Heathrow after midnight would not be as much fun as we first thought. Plus as Aggi said my car looks like a Brazilian rubbish dump.
It was a wonderful evening!

Nice - that's really clear, isn't it?

And how was the trip to Heathrow?

Wow, it's the first time I hear a live performance of "Static" and I'm blown away.

Eh - it's a good job you didn't get the head of that tall bloke who was stood right at the front and talking loudly in German all night long in the shot - that would have just RUINED the video!

;)
